Track and field events are divided into three broad categories: track
events, field events and combined events. Track events include sprints,
middle and long-distance events, hurdles and relays. Field events are grouped
into 2 broad categories, jumps and throws. TP Track & Field Team competes
in the Polytechnic-ITE (POL-ITE) and Institute-Varsity Polytechnic (IVP)
Track & Field Championship annually.
