Fusion Percussion
|
Temasek Polytechnic Fusion Percussion (TPFP) is a high-energy percussion ensemble known for powerful rhythms, tight ensemble work and crowd-hyping stage presence. True to its name, TPFP explores a fusion of percussive styles and influences — blending groove, movement and musical creativity to deliver performances that are exciting, contemporary and instantly engaging. The group is guided by instructor Mr Sharanpal Singh Gill, an experienced percussion educator and artist, who has composed and choreographed drumming segments for major national platforms - including the Youth Olympic Games (2010) and the National Day Parade (2022). Highly sought-after for campus and external showcases, TPFP’s members train through structured rehearsals that build timing, stamina, precision and showmanship, guided by industry practitioners who bring professional standards into the rehearsal room. The group lives by its motto - “With a burning passion, we play to the beat of our hearts” - and consistently brings that signature passion and energy to every stage they step on. |
