TP Emcees
|
Temasek Polytechnic Emcees is a student hosting and communications ensemble that supports a wide range of campus events with professional stagecraft, clear articulation and strong audience engagement. Working closely with TP’s Arts Groups, Clubs and Interest Groups, and academic schools, members are trained in key hosting competencies such as programme flow, protocol, script interpretation, cueing and on-ground coordination — enabling them to facilitate both formal ceremonies and large-scale student events with confidence and composure. The CCA is guided by instructor Mr Benjamin Choo, a seasoned professional emcee and communication lecturer whose extensive on-stage and on-camera experience strengthens members’ delivery, presence and audience engagement across both live and digital platforms. Beyond live hosting, TP Emcees has evolved into a platform for storytelling and content creation, developing members as communicators who discover, shape and share meaningful human narratives from within the TP community. This is reflected in initiatives such as the "Re:Temasek" engagement series, where members conceptualise, script, host and produce short-form digital content that spotlights student experiences, campus life and authentic voices — contributing to a more connected and inclusive student community through purposeful and wholesome storytelling. |
