Start Your Journey for Climate Action. Join the Sustainability Interest Group (SUSTIG) at Temasek Polytechnic — a vibrant student community driving sustainability through climate awareness, action and meaningful projects.

SUSTIG organises and delivers initiatives to champion environmental protection, social impact, and the circular economy. Here’s what to expect as a member:

• TP Eco Events: Sustainability workshops, green tech showcases, hands-on activities like Fabric Upcycling, Fan Repair, and Self-watering Planters. You will be directly involved in driving the 6Rs that promote reuse, repair, and responsible consumption. Our members also get involved in major events such as TP's & Tampines West Community Club’s EcoFest.

• Overseas Exchange Trips: Gain exposure to diverse sustainability practices beyond Singapore. The overseas learning experiences let students learn how migation strategies are applied in real-world contexts, as well as gain broader perspectives of climate impact and adaptation solutions.

• Community Activities: Participate in community events with real impact, such as Beach Clean-Ups, Waste Audits, and Tree-Plantings. Members translate awareness into action, building a shared sense of purpose to strengthen the community spirit. Our activities help to form bonds between like-minded individuals and youth groups who wish to make a difference to the environment, enabling you to find friends, collaborators and mentors.
