Horticulture & Botany Society

Interested in gardening and plant care? The Horticulture & Botany Society (HnBSoc) is the perfect fit for you! HnBSoc aims to nuture students' love for plants and nature through horticulture-based activities like workshops, gardening sessions and field outings. These sessions are open to members of the club, where everyone can gain hands-on experience and help out in our community garden on campus, or through facilitation of events. As a member, these sessions will allow you to pick up skills such as seed germination, plant care / maintenance and propagation. They cover areas such as terrarium-making, kokedama, microgreens and isopod care, and more. Additionally, HnBSoc hosts outreach and educational programmes both in and outside of campus, interacting with people from various walks of life. The club also engages in collaboration with organisations such as the People's Association and community groups with similar interests.
