About Team Temasek

The Sports Division of TP’s Student Development & Alumni Affairs Department is your gateway to all things sport in TP. From driving large-scale community events and championing sports, wellness and active fun among students, to developing high-performance sports teams, we are right at the heart of the action.

Through years of endeavour, discipline and diligence, TP has consistently delivered strong results in the Polytechnic-ITE (POL-ITE) and Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) Games. In particular, the sustained excellence of our student-athletes (Team Temasek) in the POL-ITE Games has made us the top institution in the overall medal tally – a distinction we have proudly held since 2010.

With their dedication and commitment, our sports teams have also brought tremendous honour and pride to TP. To all our student-athletes, staff advisors, coaches and passionate supporters who have journeyed with us – a big THANK YOU to each of you!

In addition, during the hiatus in the COVID-19 years (2020 and 2021), the TP Sports Division used the time to review how best to further enhance the growth and development of Team Temasek – not just as student-athletes, but also as unique individuals and servant leaders in the community.

We remain committed to bringing out the fullest potential of every student-athlete who joins the TP family. Athlete performance testing and support services have been put in place to help them improve their sporting performance through critical feedback, supported by purposeful and timely intervention to their training programmes.

Our staff advisors also work closely with the coaches to understand each team’s needs and concerns, so that collectively, we can help our student-athletes become the best version of themselves.
