SENvocates

SENvocates is a student interest group in Temasek Polytechnic (TP) dedicated to advocating for disabilities and Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Objectives:

• Advocating and raising awareness on disabilities and SEN.

• Creating a supportive and enriching school experience for fellow TP students with SEN.

• Fostering an inclusive community by organising and participating in disability/SEN-related events.

• Partnering with external agencies to drive meaningful disability and SEN-related projects.

Vision:

Together with the SEN Support Division from Student Support & Career Services, we aim to foster an environment that is inclusive for every TP student, regardless of their challenges, and positively contribute to the disability and SEN community.

Some events and projects you can look forward to organising and participating in include:

• Bi-weekly "Let’s Hang Out!" sessions

• The Purple Parade Contingent March and Campaign Activation

• Instagram Projects: TP SENtre, SENorita and Common Ground
